Place is small and noisy. Service was okay. Food was very good. We had crab cakes and there were 3 to a basket. Also had shrimp baskets. Cole slaw was sweet and creamy. Shrimps were large and plentiful. If you don't like fried foods this is probably not for you. Rustic setting with a few seats outside.

During our stay on Pine Island this month we visited the Lazy Flamingo several times, including the night we moved into our rental home.and times when we were entertaining guests who came to visit us in Bokeelia. Not once were we disappointed! The current chef is doing a fabulous job! The fried foods are hot and crisp, not over-battered or over-cooked. The French fries are the best around, and yet the staff will allow one to substitute a Caesar Salad for the fries, which not every establishment will do.
Two times my husband shared raw oysters with our guests and said they were wonderful.
We enjoy looking out over the marina, watching visitors photographed with their fresh catch and their charter captain.
The restaurant staffers help each other out when it gets busy.
Love it!

We sat at the bar and our service was phenomenal. Had the best raw oysters i have ever eaten in my life. Their fresh fish sandwich was too die for and their beers went down real smooth. Some items are a little pricey because their prices just went up but it was totally worth it!
