Cabbage Key is one our favorite places to vacation or just dine. It’s become a family tradition. We’ve been bring our kids since that were toddlers and now they are 11 and 13. Make time to stay a few days in one of their cottages or just stop by for a burger in paradise. Please don’t think this is just a burger joint. They have so much to choose from and it’s all delicious! And the view is breath taking!More
Location, food, and of course our server Katie S. made this first visit for family members memorable! We don’t stay because I live nearby, but I think my family would rather stay here than my place. So worth the boat trip!

We were there for lunch with a group of 6, the menu is extremly limited, no flexibility at all, no substitutions, no splitting checks. It is really overpriced, my friend asked for a side salad and they charged $10!!! a small simple bland salad with lettuce, tomato and onion, if you ask for water they won't tell you upfront that they'll only give you small bottled waters for $3 each, you'll have to find out on the check. 2 of us had the mahi sandwich and it was the worst I ever ate, absolutely no flavor at all, a cold bun, a slice of tomato and a small piece of old lettuce, 3 of us had the burgers and they were ok with it. For sides you can choose between cole slaw which was completely inedible, a tiny scoop of potato salad, again inedible or for an extra charge chips.. oh not homemade chips, just a small bag of chips like in a Subway...
And on top of all this the service was terrible, our server Matthew was rude from the second we sat down and gave us dirty looks throughout the whole lunch. He also messed up our order and there were items on the check that we never ordered or received, when mentioned to him, just acknowledged, but no apology.

Great time with Captain Tatum catchmeifucan fishing charters !!!! Andrew waited on us. Cheeseburgers and Rum punch were fantastic !!!! Definitely plan on coming here on your vacation. Ft Myers-Sanibel/captiva !! We will be back in December !!

Wonderful place to visit. There were 7 people in our group. Seating was easy at the restaurant and our server Courtney was awesome. The only problem I have was we did not have enough time on the island. After our meal we had 15 minutes before our boat returned. Great job Courtney you made a lunch great.

We are staying in the Dollhouse cottage, it could not be more perfect for a getaway! Everyone one is so nice...we are loving being able to truly relax! Seeing the manatees, wildlife, boats and the beautiful tropical island is like living in a paradise. The food at the Inn is some of the best we have had anywhere. Last night Cathy was our server. Although she said it was her first night, one could never tell. She was informative, personal and gave wonderful suggestions. She is a keeper!!! We look forward to coming back every year to this special island!
