Location is Phenomenal. Food is average.

We went for lunch. Loved the location. The Dollar Bar is also really cool. Drink sizes were small (6 or 8 oz.), considering the price which was a little steep. We had the mahi-mahi sandwich with chips, mixed green salad, salmon appetizer and two drinks. We also had a coke and a coffee. Bill was $73.00. Our server was Katharine and she was okay. For some reason, our expectations were pretty high before we arrived. We thought we would see bright, cheerful, happy faces (employees) and eat some really good food. Not so much. Employee moral seemed to be a little low throughout the restaurant. A little disappointing. Sort of like going to an amusement park and meeting disgruntled employees.

Thank you for your feedback. Being an island, we do have to account for the cost to transport products to and from the mainland, which, is reflected in our prices. Please note that all of our menus are available online for our guests to view prior to their visit. In regard to your comment about staff moral, we apologize that our staff energy was not on par the day you visited us. We hope that you will give us another try in the future.

Great lunch with excellent service!

We took a day cruise from the King fisher fleet out of Punta gorda, FL. Our boat stopped here for us to depart and have lunch. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. Marcie was very friendly, and attentive. Very nice atmosphere.

Our special lunch

I wanted to visit here since I read about it and saw the pictures. It was fantastic. We went for lunch. The restaurant is so neat with all the bills pasted up all over. Food was great. Our server, Marci was adorable. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Made us feel really welcome. My husband and I needed assistance getting to the restaurant from the dock and they were there with a cart to take us up to the restaurant and return us to the dock after lunch. The grounds are beautiful. Big warwe tower and area where you can see the burrowing turtles. Highly recommend visiting here. What an enjoyable day.

Delicious food & beautiful views!

My boyfriend and his family ate here when we got off our island day cruise boat, we had a reservation luckily enough because if not we probably would have had such a long wait - this was place was packed with people. (The only downfall I could really find) They had our table ready for us within 5 minutes of getting there. The lunch menu is limited but all was so delicious. After lunch we stopped in the gift shop & walked the trail around the inn, which was beautiful. It's astonishing to go somewhere where there was not a single piece of liter or trash on the ground, the trail is kept very nice.

Easter Fun with Family

We took a boat over to Cabbage Key to see the rabbit aka Easter Bunny. The kids had a blast. They watched the turtles, a manatee and the pretty surroundings. We went inside and found the hostess, I believe her name was Beverly, what a delight she was, pleasant smile, expedient, even gave crayons to the kids, our table was great and Debbie did a good job serving us. Simply put, we enjoyed our visit and will return.
