“A Bit of France in Boca”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

I come here for the perfectly braised lamb shanks.
My Lady Wife is more eclectic.

We also like it because the atmosphere is French.

We had dinner here instead of watching the Super Bowl.
Excellent choice.

2 fixed-price menus with wine, aperitifs and coffee - under $100.

“Pre-Cruise Delight”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

With a cruise leaving the next day we elected to stay in Boca Raton and drive to Miami in the AM. Good choice as we had a dinner at Bistro Provence that ticked all our boxes - great food, great service, easy to get to from our hotel and a fun atmosphere. We chose from the inclusive menu and recommend it - appetizer, entree, and dessert (with dessert that rival any Paris restaurant). When in Boca - go french at Bistro Provence.

“Simply Superb! I love my Claudine!”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Bistro Provence is one of our "must-do" restaurants in Boca. Claudine and Eric could not be more cordial and accommodating. We were last there for my birthday in late September 2012, and Claudine puts this hat on my head with faux birth candles on it, so we could take photos!

With wine and tip, figure $60 a head, but it is worth it!

It's a bistro, not La Tour d'Argent in Paris! However, make a reservation.
They also have an "early bird" special, but you need to pay in cash for that. NOT OPEN FOR LUNCH.

Highly, highly recommended.

Also, don't miss out at "Le Bistro" at Light House Point. Andy Truesdale does a superb job there, even after suffering the wrath of Gordon Ramsay on TV! This is another bistro I suggest a visit to. It's in the same league as Bistro Provence.

“great french bistro”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

This bistro is reasonably priced as well as wonderful. Their fish dishes are outstanding. The owner is wonderfully accommodating to people who don't eat meat. All their dishes are authentic french, and delicious. I have had several fish dishes here and all of them were great. They have an early bird special that makes dining here even more affordable for seniors on a fixed income. The owners are charming.
