Just returned home from a two night stay at the Hilton Suites Boca Raton. This hotel appears to be a former Embassy Suites that has been converted to a Hilton-- should have been converted to a Holiday Inn Express. Everything about the hotel was nasty. We had family members who waited in a lobby sitting area while we checked in-- the sitting area had an old empty potato chip bag sitting on the coffee table and chips all over the floor. Went up to the room-- the mattress for the pullout sofa looked like it had been chewed on in multiple places by rodents, the floor was stained, the Hilton bathrobe was horribly stained, the washcloths were dirty and there were wet scraps of toilet paper on the bathroom floor. Much like Embassy Suites they offered free breakfast. Waited in line for 20 minutes to get into breakfast the first morning and didn't bother the second morning. Complained about the conditions of the room and the manager took 25% off of the bill for the two nights. But it was a huge ripoff at $199 per night (pre discount).

I'm a Hilton Honors gold member and I will never stay at this hotel again.

Last stayed here when it was a Radisson. The hotel is nice but a little isolated. There's no restaurant (though free hot breakfast is served daily), no evening food (just a cocktail reception) and really not much nearby (except an expensive fish restaurant). There's no executive lounge and there isn't even takeout coffee during the day. The gift shop officially closes from 11-5.

With a free hot breakfast for everyone, identical rooms, and no executive lounge, about all they can offer HHonors Diamond members is better shampoo and free wireless (which should really be free in the first place).

The staff are nice, and helpful, but they've got too much to do. Reception can get very busy at times, yet the person working the counter has to answer the phones. Not just to forward calls but also to handle reservations. Although as a customer I hate it when an property transfers me to the 800# call centre, a long call to check rates and make reservations ruins the experience for those trying to get service.

Daily breakfast is good, including custom omelettes and real scrambled eggs (vs. whatever it is they serve at Homewood Suites, for example) but something's wrong with the process. Recently, when the hotel was very full or sold out, they ran out of clean plates, clean glasses, scrambled eggs, whole eggs, milk, and I don't recall what else. Manager's answer? "We've served over 400 breakfasts this morning". I really wanted to ask how many more that was than they expected. The lines are also very very long towards the end. It probably would make sense to move breakfast from regular (6-10) to weekend (7-11) hours during the Christmas-New Year's period, since everyone here seems to be a tourist.

A guestroom flooded and they moved out the furniture and moved in big fans. Nothing they can do about that, but they left the furniture in the hallway and elevator lobby for three days.

Beds are great but living-room couch is very uncomfortable and needs replacement or reupholstering. Some really ugly frames on the pictures in the room too.

Overall a nice place but it needs work (and more staff, or better planning, or something).

I'll keep this review short. Very nice hotel, easy to get to, it is located just off of the Florida turnpike or if you prefer, 5 mins from the exit on glades rd via i95. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was probably one of the best i've had in a hotel. Very nice rooms and clean. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this property many times when it was part of the Radisson chain, and was usually happy. I wondered if the hotel would remain as good as it was now a part of the Hilton family. It was! The hotel has remained for me a home-away-from-home, and has added a computer room for guests, as well as a nice gym. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable, and the room was clean and cheerful. The included cooked to order breakfast was how I remembered it.... no wonder, as the same chef, Louis, has been there since 1993! The free cocktail hour (or 2) was very nice...drink up! If you will be in the Boca area, this is a beautiful place to stay.
