I suppose it is about expectations, but I was underwhelmed with the accommodations at this location. I was staying here with my 4 year old to be in close proximity to family in the area. The room felt very small, similar to my stay at the Embassy two years earlier. The suites are what I would call "railroad style" and feel very ant farm like. The room was fairly clean overall, but the pull out sofa was absolutely gross and there were no bed linens for it (which I discovered right before we went to bed). I was pretty annoyed that I had to pay extra for internet access and there was no onsite restaurant other than breakfast (which was superb) and the bar which was only opened for happy hour. I had to take my 4 year old over to City Market Restaurant which was way too upscale but the only option I could find. I wasn't planning on spending $70 on dinner for me and my son.
The weather was kind of yucky so we didn't get to use to the pool thought it did seem nice. I guess for $200 a day I just expected better. If it wasn’t for the truly amazing breakfast buffet that was complimentary there would be minimal value here.More
