“Fine fresh cooking”

Special thanks to opscoor for mentioning the Soup Nazi. I could have mistaken the snappiness of the service (no, the server was not snappy) for brusqueness. But no, I went out of my way to be positive and friendly, and I received exactly the same in kind.

As for the food, it was excellently prepared. Every main dish was prepared to order. I ordered the "Seafood Delight" , and a delight it was--fresh shrimp, scallops and king crab leg in a very delicate white sauce...reminding me that "muy" spelled backwards is YUM! And yum it was.

The wonton soup was fresh, light and the chef sprinkled it with fresh-cut scallions and bean sprouts for color and texture. Another yum!

Wok away, I say! Fine eating here, better than the more touristy-popular P. F. Chang. The Real Deal is here!

“Fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

We have been eating here for over 10 years now. Great food and we think friendly staff. They get very busy so maybe that's why people don't like their attitude. We actually drive from west boca to here 20-25 min drive just to eat their food. It's not greasy like other places. Jack cooks it fresh to order and it fun to watch him with the wok. Family owned and run, same staff since we started here. We suggest take out but you can dine in. We just don't like coming out afterwards smelling like that place. They don't deliver.

“Great neighborhood Chinese”

Great local place where the wife runs the front and the husband cooks in an open air kitchen. It's fun to watch him stir fry everything so fast.

Good fresh food at affordable prices.

“Wok An Experience!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2012

Yeah, it's a simple storefront off Camino Real, west of US 1, but they have probably the best hot and sour soup you will find anywhere. You'll wind up sitting within 10 feet of the chef/owner, who makes everything pronto in his flaming wok, so everything gets to you quickly and piping hot. No, it's not the best Chinese food in the world, but for ten bucks you'll get great soup, chicken wings, entree, and dessert, all off a straightforward menu that has all the dishes every other Chinese Restaurant has. The difference here: that hot and sour soup, and inexpensive prices.

“You know the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2012

Well, these guys at Sieng House are Chinese Food Nazis: they can be mean but dang if it isn't the best darn Chinese food that I ever had regularly. Sure, you can get take-out here, but there's nothing like homestyle bean curd right out of the wok, that hasn't gotten slightly steamed/soggy from being in the take-out carton. Be respectful and tip well -- and you will be amply rewarded with some of the most healthful, most delicious Asian food you've ever had in this country -- and I've frequented Asian kitchens in all four corners of the U.S.A. This place is awesome.
