So beautiful! Soft sand, very clean beach, and parking was not an issue on a Saturday. The beach did not feel crowded and there was plenty of space to stretch out, despite being a weekend. The drive to the beach was also beautiful and there is lots to do in the area. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and there were showers available to wash off the sand not too far from the parking lot.

Pick a day when the winds and ocean are calm and head for this beach that has a shallow reef you can walk right to it is is shallow, it is really just a few steps out, so at low tide even the little kids will enjoy spotting the small fish that gather around the reef. Weekends it is $18 car for parking. You can also park across the street where metered parking is per hour and walk over but if you are carrying a lot of stuff you will be exhausted by the time you get to the beach. No refreshment stand that I am aware off so bring everything you need. There is a lifeguard on duty.

Park across the street for $3 instead of $16 in the park it's a very short walk. Nice beach/park for a stroll, no high rises pleasent

Great park . The $18 entry fee is worth it. Great snorkeling area when the weather is good. And if your lucky enough a manatee could come on swimming by. Man made rock cluster is what forms the reef The kids love it.
