“Quiet beach, clean”

We are local so this is a great park for a quick swim with the kids. Residents can purchase a sticker for the local beaches making this a great bargain for a quick picnic or an enjoyable walk by the ocean. When its calm, you can snorkel and be surprised by the size of some of the fish swimming near you that you typically would never notice. There are some rocky areas near shore where fish typically gather. The facilities are maintained, the dunes are clean and the park has a nice cover of shade.

This review is for the Red Reef Golf Course on the west side of the street. My golf skills are. . . . well. . . . not good, but I enjoy the game nonetheless. 9 holes is the perfect length for me and par 3 courses suit my skill level. If you've got a low handicap, this place could be "beneath you" if you don't want to practice your short game. I love all the palm trees and being so close to the beach, especially since I don't get that kind of golfing environment in Northern California. I also like to walk courses (vs. taking a cart) and this one doesn't tucker you out.

No reef but nice beach. Reef all filled in by sand but we had a good time anyway swimming and sun bathing. Good place for picnics and family gatherings in the park.

The Red Reef Park is a real treasure out there for beachgoers. Parking is plentiful, the beach is clean and the reefs are out there to be explored by young and not so young. Everybody is welcome to snorkel around to experience the red reefs by his or her own eyes.

Easy access to the beach. Parking is $16, but you can park across A1A for $2/hr if you want. A nice quiet stetch of beach even during Xmas week.
