“Fun afternoon!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The custom museum has a tour guide who makes it so much fun and knows her business very well with fantastic broadway music. They also give a behind the scenes little tour. The theatre is Samuel, very, very nice, it doesn't matter where you seat, they are all great seats. The dinning room is like being at the. Tavern on the green! A must!

“Great Venue for a Play”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The Wick is not too big and not too small, it's just the right size to watch a live show. Seating is good and seats are comfortable. There's also a small museum and Cafe onsite.

“If you love theater, check out the costume museum.”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

While on vacation in Florida, I signed up to tour the museum and have lunch at The Wick Theatre with my mom and my 16 year old daughter. We had no expectations, My daughter loves theater and what could me more fun than checking out costumes! We were bowled over by the collection of historic costumes from some of the most iconic Broadway productions such as The Music Man, The King and I, Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof and The Producers (just to name a few.) Our docent, a knowledgable and lively young actor named Danny took us around and entertained us with funny stories and little known facts. The tour was followed by a simple lunch in a room meant to look like Tavern on the Green. They had the original chandelier that hung the restaurant's entrance. Lunch included some great singing by a talented actor who sang some well known songs from a few great musicals. The icing on the cake came at the conclusion of the afternoon when Marilyn Wick, founder and CEO of Costume World, spoke to the group. She is an extraordinary woman who is an inspiration to women through her persistence, hard work, tenacity and positive attitude. She built an empire (look up Costume World) and has the world's largest collection of theatrical costumes (38 to 48 full costume sets) from all the great musicals. We were just visiting Florida for a short time so we could not see a show at the theater but next time we visit we will certainly see a show. Take your friend, daughter, mom, or musical theater fan on this tour. It's great fun!
