Have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it. Ambience much different than other Chinese restaurants. Waiters wear tuxedos. Everything is much more upscale than other chinese restaurants. The food is of excellent quality and I've never been disappointed. However, my feelings are that the portions are smaller than at other restaurants and the prices are considerably higher. This is not unusual for Boca Raton. If price doesn't bother you, you'll get a wonderful meal here. While I prefer better quality food, I usually go to places where the food is very good and the prices constitute a bargain for what you get .

Four of us ate here on 3-20-13. Service was good & the food was excellent. I had a mixed vege dish & asked for their hotter garlic sauce on the side. Serving size was good & the sauce was exquisite. Atmosphere is great. It's more upscale than most Chinese restaurants. It's Chinese, not Thai! :) In a nice shopping center with a good chocolates-and-ice-cream shop, a gourmet market (Joseph's), a Starbucks, a Panera, a Morton's Steakhouse & other food places & shops. We ate inside. Parking at this shopping center is tight, but there's valet parking & I think it's free.

One of the few restaurants in my pantheon. We celebrated the 90th birthday of our family patriarch at Uncle Tai's. Food was so incredibly out-of-this-world delicious and the folks at the restaurants really went out of their way to make our event something to remember. We are travelling down another time to Boca in June and we'll make sure we go to this restaurant. Perhaps the most memorable dish was the crispy beef, but so was the eggplant with garlic sauce, and all we had was absolutely scrumptuous--mentioning only these 2 dishes does injustice to all the other dishes we had. So,now we say "Next June at Uncle Tai's".

We had heard from friends that Uncle Tai's had the best Chinese food in Palm Beach County so we decided to give it a try. Being discriminating diners our standards are faily high. Uncle Tai's lived up to the hype. Beautiful decor, upscale table settings with ceramic chopsticks not cheap wooden ones, tuxedoed waiters, and an extensive menu. We did not see what we wanted on the menu however, and asked our waiter if he could put something together for us,he did and it was excellent. The fried rice was very good, light and full of sliced chicken not dry bits like most places. Very good service with water getting topped off constantly, food runners bringing everything out timely, and an overall nice experience!

Not your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Beautiful decor, great service and delicious food. We always start with their popoo platter, best walnuts ever. The crispy beef dish is second to none.
