“Jazz and Dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2014

Great location right in Mizner Park, offering great music and very good comfort and gourmet food. The atmosphere has a very interesting and comfortable ambiance. You can either have dinner or just go there to hear some great musicians. There is a very large bar offering indoor and outdoor sitting. The bar offers cocktails, wines and craft beer, as well as bottle service at a private table, secluded room or outdoor courtyard. In addition there is a piano bar, a private, a glass-enclosed “chef’s table, dedicated bars for caviar, cigars, and Champagne.
There is something different being offered every day of the week, including Sunday when a Jazz Brunch takes place.

“Very Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014 via mobile

Went there Christmas Eve with my wife. Things started going wrong when we ordered a bottle of wine and were brought a less expensive bottle from the same winery. I caught the "mistake" when the waiter showed up with the bottle. When I told him that was not what I ordered he tried to convince me it was the same thing. I knew better since this was my favorite wine and I new the difference between La Crema Pinot Noir (Sonoma, Russian River and Carneros) He continued to argue that it was all the same. The less expensive bottle he brought us was not even listed on the Wine List...... The waiter then stormed off and left us sitting there. We were later served by another waiter who turned out to be quite friendly. Our dining experience was marred by this incident. To add insult to injury the food we ordered was fair. We will not return there for dinner.

“Great entertainement, good food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

We went there on a Saturday Night, 10:00PM expecting to listen to some Jazz while eating a good dinner.
There was a live band playing a variety of songs, from Latin to Rock and they were fantastic. Not the jazz we expected but we made a great night out of it. The ambiance was unexpectedly lively, lots of dancing and a fun evening. Our guess is that after a certain time on week-ends, the Nightlife part of the name takes over the Jazziz part and we won't complain about it.

Food was American New Cuisine. Good, not great.
We had the lamb chops which were excellent but not very large, the duck which was good at first but overly sweet (peach sauce).
The mussel's appetizer is excellent and a good ration.
Avoid the "large crab" at $12 a piece, you only get a small end of a leg, one bite at best.

A bit pricey at between $24 and $40 a dish but considering there is no cover charge for the music, it is well worth it. There is a minimum of $35 / person food/beverage when there's live music, a much better deal than paying an entrance fee.

Later during the night, we noticed some people getting pizzas which were not in the menu so that might also be an after hours option.

“Go for the music! Skip the food!”

Entertainment is pricey, but the best. Food is pricey and mediocre. Eat elsewhere and come for the entertainment
