“Top Notch Bistro”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

This place is small, open limited hours for dinner only, and one of the best meals I have had. Friends took us to Fleming & Else on a Saturday night. We had reservations, there were 4 couples, and everyone was very happy with their meal, the service, and the atmosphere. My husband ordered the small filet mignon, cooked exactly as he requested, I had Talapia with sweet potato crust, good sized portions. (take home boxes needed). The lentil soup was also excellent. The napoleon dessert was worth every calorie! Bill for two of us, including soup, house salads, dinners, and dessert w/coffees @$45.00 (+ tip). Very reasonable for the quality of the meals. Highly recommend this restaurant.

“Review of Fleming(and Else) Bistro”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

I am, if put nicely, a picky eater. Someone told us about Fleming's, with their recent name addition, and we went there last night. We had wonderful bread, great soup, very good.
scallops and lamb chops and desert. The meals are more than filling.
Fleming was always going around to see that everyone was being served properly.
I met the chef and she was wonderful too.
The prices are well within being fair plus, Fred, our server, made sure that we were being takencare of too.
One last thought I agree with others that the food is near 5 star. The ambiance is 4 star...
then again, if the people you are with are 5 star Fleming becomes 5 star in all ways

“Good food and nice staff, what else?”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

A good restaurant in Boca Raton. We really appreciated the salmon (various recipes) that you should ask "medium light" cooked for having it tender! The wine card offers you a good choice and you can opt for the Merlot by Coppola (the cheapest bottle on the list), it is worth it.
There is a large parking just in front of the entrance.
Warm welcome and nice staff make it definitively a good experience.

“Always consistently excellent”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Whenever we're looking for a moderately priced dinner with reliably excellent food and service, we come here. The large and varied continental menu offers something for everyone. There's a wonderful selection of fish prepared in many different styles. Fleming himself, bends over backwards to be accommodating. If my husband asks in advance, Fleming will prepare his favorite steak tartar. I generally have the duck. The couple we're dining with tonight always has the liver..... Service is always excellent. The bread on the table are great. Meal includes soup (homemade and delicious) or salad. Save room for the HUGE napoloean!

“Broad Menu”
Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

When we arrived at 7 PM on a Saturday night, we entered a bustling and packed restaurant. It is positioned at the back of a small strip shopping center so you need to know where you are going or use your GPS if you are coming from out of town like we did. It was worth the 70 mile drive for us to meet our friends and enjoy a delicious meal.
There is a large menu filled with a variety of choices as well as a long list of specials recited by the waitress. I like knowing the price of the specials, and she stated each special price. We selected one of the salmon specials with artichokes and capers which was wonderful. Our table also had veal francais, grilled salmon, and chicken Marsala. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable although not inexpensive. We started with the pear pecan salad which was excellent. For dessert we shared the apple walnut pie ala mode which had a perfect homemade crust.
I am torn between rating this restaurant with four or five stars. Five stars for food. Four stars for ambiance and service. The restauarant is small and the tables are placed in close proximity. There were several larger groups, parties of 6-8, and the noise level was high. The waitress was efficient, although somewhat brusque. The age of the clientele was somewhat surprising as every guest was at least 65 years old. I mention this to future younger diners who might feel uncomfortable or out of place with an aged, but lively, Boca crowd. Regardless, we would return. The owner circulated throughout his restaurant the night.
