I actually had a lovely meal at Jimmy's this Christmas, surprisingly. In recent years, the food has been terrible, but the taramasalata as an appetizer and the chicken gyros as a main were excellent. The only criticism of the meal was the attitude of the waitress, but other than that, thumbs up.

We dine here often with friends and always have a good meal. The chicken souvaki was delicious- juicy and nicely spiced. The Greek salad is always very good and the pita was excellent. Service is always very good

I eat here on a regular basis. The food is very good and the service is wonderful. Apparently business is very good for them since they expanded and made the restaurant twice as big. I read one of the other reviews and the person said they did not like the restaurant but they said they ate there four times. Who eats at a restaurant four times that doesn't like it? Especially in Boca Ratonwhere you have so many choices.
I highly recommend this restaurant, it is very delicious and reasonably priced.

This place seems to have expanded a couple of times over the years but as others have mentioned they really haven’t done much to update the place (on the inside). We ended up there recently as the place we were trying to get into had over a 30 minute wait. Nobody in our group really wanted to go to Jimmy the Greek but we decided to give it another try (which likely won’t happen again).

The place was fairly crowed but we were able to get a table right away. Our server was new and didn’t appear to be trained as she didn’t know how to enter the order into the computer nor did she have any type of routine down. She filled only one glass of water and left the others ½ empty plus she left all of the empty plates on the table when we finished the soup/salad and then after we finished with the main dishes. Now to the food. The salad and soup were just OK. The pita came just about when we were finished with the 1st course and it wasn't served with anything. We had one Gyro platter which didn’t have a lot of meat and only came with 2 small pieces of roasted potatoes. Not what we expect for a dinner portion. We also had two chicken dishes that came with rice & veggies. The chicken and rice needed some flavor and seasoning. I’m not sure if they are cooking sodium free but the food needed some help. For a Greek place, you can try putting olive oil on the tables, sea salt, pepper and serve lemons. There are much better Greek places in the area for the money and quality. This place is not for us.

Great food with a family atmosphere. We eat here once or twice a month and the staff still treat us like long lost friends. Lamb shank is to die for>\
