I would only go here for happy hour. Its every night and you get $5 drinks and appetizers. I can't imagine paying the menu prices for this food. Its basic Chinese food, nothing special. The regular prices are between $30 and $60 per entree. Ridiculous! The staff is very scattered and no one seems to know or care who they are serving.

I booked a reservation at Philippe for a girls celebration! We were greeted by a nice hostess who offered us several options for a table. Once seated the service was very good. However, the restaurant was not that busy. It was a thursday night, so..... maybe they got busy after 8:30 p.m. We had the lettuce wraps for appetizers, and we ordered the crispy beef, and the velvet chicken and of course white rice. Everything was nice, nothing over the top, just nice average asian food. I guess you need to incorporate the location and atmosphere into the price of everything including the drinks, which I might add were pricey! Oh yes, and Philipe himself came to our table to see if we were enjoying our evening!

A great location with inside and outside dining options with tables, couches or bar seating. FYI - happy hour lasts all night if you sit at the fountain bar, which means $5.50 martinis (Best Lychee Fruit Martini, ever), and an assortment of half price “small plates”. Calamari was fried perfectly with a slight spicy flavor and paired with a sweet coconut sauce. Peking Duck Egg Rolls were a great twist.

The regular menu was also impressive and the restaurant was “packed”. Reservations recommended.

Food average at best. At the end of the meal we were served fortune cookies wihich contained disgusting sexual "jokes". Our party contained a minor who opened the cookie with the most inappropriate sexual joke possible. The management apologized after we bitterly complained. Not recommended for food or atmosphere.
