This is a french bistro with excellent food. I walked in and only had 45 minutes for dinner because of a business meeting I had to attend. The restaurant has outdoor seating, which was busy, but there were only two other tables of customers inside while I was there, so the restaurant was not busy.

I ordered a chicken dish which was in a delicious lemon butter sauce. It was described as Cajun on the menu, but it wasn't what I normally think of as cajun. The chicken was tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned. I wish I could go back there tonight!

I would definitely go back!

Casimir never disappoints. There is an upbeat atmosphere about Casimir that adds to the always delicious -and reliable- meals. Laurent and Dorice are charming hosts and the wait staff friendly and efficient.Among our favorites are the mussels and the steak with pomme frites. Soups and salads are excellent as well.
There are specials each night (Closed on Sundays) and a wonderful three course dinner that is around $26.00.
The owners do shutter for the end of August and the month of September as they head back to France, but we have their reopening date circled on our calendar.
