Description: Interesting things happen in a city with water at every turn. Those who have spent the day at sea might find themselves craving dry aged steaks, grilled to perfection and paired with a dry Cabernet Sauvignon, while those who were on the links or in the shops of the Town Center Mall may develop intense desires for Pan-fried Calamari with Hot Cherry Peppers, Citrus Glazed Salmon, and other treasures of the deep. Fortunately, The Capital Grille offers all of that and more in a setting of perfectly relaxed elegance. So rejoice, citizens of Boca. The Capital Grille is now open.

Upon a recent visit with my wife looking for a good meal. Very nice staff, nice bar but bartenders don't know how to make a drink. Asking for a Southern Comfort Manhattan the bartender did not know how to make it correctly, with the right proportions, on the rocks, not shaken in the right glass, just no clue. For $13.00 he should know how to do this. Then on to dinner. Ordered 2 Porterhouse medium rare. Looked good but the only thing tender was the filet portion. The rest of the steak was not tender and quite tasteless. For $48.00 apiece next time I will stay home and make a proper steak. This is one overpriced, overhyped chain. There are much better places to spend $150.00 on a meal. Pass on this place.

This Capital Grille location delivers on the usual and expected Capital Grille brand. The food, both steak and fish, were well prepared and nicely presented. The ambiance is classical Capital Grille, with the dark paneling and the elegant touches that make dining a memorable occasion. Piricey, but not any more so than any other Capital Grille menu, and worth the money if you are looking for a good steak.

Waiter was personable but we felt rushed. Barely finished salad and main course was there. Food was average. Nothing to rave about.

Had to highlight what I crave from them. As a steak and seafood fine dining restaurant they are also superior to others. Service is always top notch, sometimes far exceeding other chop houses, i.e. Taking photos and framing while dining. In boca area it's my choice among 4 other chop houses within a mile.

Best bread in South Florida

For those with large expense accounts.

Even have wine storage units with customers name on the unit-- so customer can keep their wine there.
Too over the top-- even for Boca.

Don't eat red meat and had the large chicken breast with the bone on the end.
Asked that they specifically watch while cooking-- so othat it would come out moist.
It came out dry as leather-- and almost needed heimlich maneuver.

Why didn't I just send it back-- because if can't get it right the first time-- then why bother and anyway did not feel like waiting for another 25 minutes and then eating my meal while my wife had desert.
