Our party of 4 included our Italian "snowbird" neighbors who reside in Rome. This is their favorite Italian restaurant which says a lot. While most of the menu items are close to authentic Italian with some Italian American items, you can ask your server and the chef to prepare your meal 100% Italian style. The bufala mozzeralla is imported and good but can never be the same as the fresh made, unchilled available in Italy. However, the appetizer of bufala mozzarella with arugula was very nice. All of our pasta dishes were prepared properly, al dente, Italian style. Large portions. The list of specials is extensive and complicated. You almost need a specials' menu to appreciate them and properly decide. Desserts are rich, generous and well presented. Service was very good. An upscale Italian restaurant that can cater to your taste, especially if you want to experience true Italian cuisine.

This is the restaurant where Italians choose to eat. Great food from start to finish. A waiter arrives with a plate of Bruschetta, focaccia and delicious green olives. Yum. The menu is extensive and yet, the waiter begins briefing us on a long list of “specials”. We chose the grilled shrimp… large and perfectly cooked… A full-bodied red wine… and finally, a cappuccino. Great service. A bit pricey but worth it. Angelo’s first restaurant is located in Ft Lauderdale. This is his second location. The food is consistently good in both locations.

One of my favorite italian restaurants in town and there are many. The baked clams are delish and they have a great red sauce that makes the meal. I also enjoy the sides. One of the best is the burnt string beans w/shrimp. Try everything at least once!

We had a reservation and got seated..
The prices were off the charts so we decided to share an entress since I could not eat a lot of food..Shared a pasta dish..
Serivce was spotty at best. VERY noisy.
Will we be back? probably not..
And yes, we are used to dining at very expensive places both locally and abroad..but felt this restaurant was grossly overpriced for what u got.
