Just back from another trip to the Boca Raton Resort and it is as good as it has ever been. I was at the hotel for a conference and spent the first two nights at the Boca Beach Club, which I'll review separately, and then moved across the bay to the hotel for the conference.
This is a very old hotel so the rooms are not the biggest in the Cloister (original part of the hotel), but I prefer being in the older part of the hotel vs the tower. I stay in a lot of hotels on the road and the sameness gets to me so I enjoy character when I can get it.
Even though the room was in the older section, it looked like it had been renovated not long ago so everything was what you'd expect in a luxury hotel. I didn't get a chance to use the spa this trip, but did use the fitness room every day and play a round of golf on the resort course in the conference tournament.
Overall it could not have been a better stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and everything at the conference went off without a hitch. I look forward to our next time here.More
