For a restaurant directly on the water, it did not have as many seafood options as I would have expected. We had to ask if there was a fried shrimp option for adults as it was on the children's menu but not the adult menu. We all enjoyed our food, but almost every order came out with at least one mistake on it that had to be rectified. I recommend the fried shrimp. It is on the menu, but you may have to ask. They were large white shrimp, locally caught and quite delicious.

Tried this restaurant last weekend and loved the atmosphere and the view of the boats in the marina was amazing! Out server, Russ was friendly and helpful when selecting our entrées. Loved the black beans and rice and the grouper was fresh. Must visit next time you are in Boca Grande.

Loved that they had an "outdoor" deck but it was air-conditioned! The Shrimp quesadilla were the best I have ever had! Ahi tuna nachos were great! Burger was fabulous! The view at the marina was icing on the cake!

Loved the fact that all staff was extremely friendly. Food was wonderful. They all said thank you for coming in today and asked us to come again. Food was hot and fresh. Could not have asked for a better meal.

We boated over from Punta Gorda on a lovely sunny Saturday. The dock hands were excellent: answered our first hail with clear instructions for the slip and then were right there on the spot to handle the lines. The renovations are top notch! Miller's Dockside was doing a booming business and we had a pleasant 30 minute wait while we went through the Ship's Store and then waited on benches where we could order drinks. (The Eagle Grille - more formal upstairs dining - is closed for the summer slow season.) Four of our group of six diners ordered the (Grouper) Fish and Chips special and all gave it a 2 thumbs up...the breading was just right and the doneness was perfect. The Dim Sum appetizer was good. The Shrimp and Grits were excellent: creamy and flavorful. The Harbor House Salad was both tasty and attractive with nuts, oranges, and cheese, and a delicious key lime vinaigrette. The bill was a bit pricey - $50 for two with iced teas - but Boca Grande is pricey! Additional wait staff would be a huge plus.
