I really enjoyed the conch fritters, but artichoke/crab dip was not very good. Very friendly environment with unique layout and feel. Well worth checking out. They are known for their pizza and it looked great.

My husband and I went here for an early dinner (around 5PM) and both of us had the grouper sandwich. Yes it is on a big bun, but you also get a big piece of grouper...the bun size does not detract from the fish at all. We plan on going again and will probably share the sandwich and the silver dollar fries it comes with. We didn't have a problem finding it at all and we chose to eat at the bar where the bartender/waitress was excellent, fast and friendly. Enjoy the Key Deer, they are everywhere.

Thousands of dollar bills stapled to every available surface is kitschy but doesn't improve the food.
Very large uninspired servings. If you like ceviche with lime juice and cilantro don't order it here.
The fish sandwich had correctly cooked snapper but the small filet was overwhelmed with a LARGE bun, far too many tomato slices and red onions. The fried potato slices were OK.

My title says it all, we called here at lunchtime just for a beer and a look around. It looked good so we went back for dinner but we were disappointed. If the waitress had been more friendly I might not have chosen the snails which were overcooked and a small portion for the price. My husband's food was OK. The plates and cutlery were disposable and the business plan seemed to be to concentrate on the merchandise; glasses and T shirts not the food.

This is a true hard to find place with a deserved reputation for good food and an interesting atmosphere. The entire place is blanketed with $1 bills - ceilings, walls, windows - that were left there by people visiting as part of a 30 year old tradition. This place has quite the storied history which your wait staff will be happy to tell you about if you ask. Hemingway purportedly loved it and I can see why. Great pizza, interesting atmosphere, way back in a residential neighborhood far from the main drag.
