“A Wonderful Fishing from a Kayak”

We rented a Hobie Big Pine kayak for fishing and found the week to be outstanding. Bill did everything possible to help us make the trip enjoyable. He did his best to help us catch from fish and we did do quite well. Don't miss fishing there and with him if you have a chance. We would love to do this trip again.

“Fantabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

Went out with Greg last Wednesday for the three hour tour to No Name and Friday with Bill for the four hour tour further into back country. I was a newbie to the Keys and kayaking. I do lots of canoeing in the backcountry in Ontario, Canada and this experience has me longing to buy a kayak back home. Both guys gave great advice on this. This experience was top-notch and worth every cent. Greg and Bill obviously love what they do and their knowledge combined with a friendly attitude means five stars all the way.

“Paddling the Florida Keys”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

Bill Keogh is the owner and guide of Big Pine Kayak Adventures and the author of the book, “The Florida Keys Paddling Guide from Key Largo to Key West”. He is a very knowledgeable and personable guy who is eager to share his passion. If you like wildlife, water and paddling adventures he is the “go to guy”! We traveled from Cleveland, Ohio to the Florida Keys with our own kayaks thinking it would be cost effective…the money we wasted in gas was unbelievable, never again! Big Pine Kayak Adventures will always be a part of our southern visit. Not to mention he has a cute dog and good tips on restaurants. Thanks Bill for a great time always!

First time kayaking for 3 of us and a little nervous as two of us were 70 yrs. old However our guide Casey was very helpful and supportive. We all had a great experience. The mangrove forest was very interesting. I would recommend this trip for sure.

“Great afternoon on the water”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

We had Chris as our guide as we paddled across to No Name Key. He was very knowledgable about the local flora and fauna as he guided us through the mangroves to the lake on No Name Key. Since it was winter we didn't see as much but it was still a great trip. One highlight was sighting a keys deer close-up in the middle of the mangrove swamp. We highly recommend this activity.
