Big Pine Boat Rentals is a class A operation. We had a delightful experience from the professional check out to the check in and fueling at the end of a wonderful day. Boat ran perfect. Weather was perfect (thanks Maya). We snorkled, lobstered, and enjoyed the fantastic Wetstock 2013 at Picnic Island. We know what it takes to run a professional operation. We owned a boat rental business in the Virgin Islands for many years.

With a trip to the Keys planned but our boat in several pieces, I was fortunate to find Big Pine Key Boat Rentals. Mia is the best. The personalized service we received was like a blast from the past and we were able to enjoy the Keys at its best during the start of lobster season. If we ever need to rent another boat, Big Pine Boat Rentals will be on speed dial. Thanks again Mia!!!

We have rented from Big Pine Boat Rentals twice now and find Maya a pleasure to work with. We experienced personalized service and the location at Summerland made the trip to Looe Key a quick ride. Maya and her staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. We will definitely be renting from Big Pine Boat Rental in the future.

Just want to pass along how much we highly recommend boat rental through Maya at Big Pine Key Boat Rentals (305-849-0130, www.bigpineboatrentals.com). We just returned from a blissful vacation in the Lower Florida Keys where we got to do some snorkeling at Looe Key and Newfound Harbor Marine Sanctuary areas as well as sightseeing in the backcountry thanks to boats from Big Pine Key Boat Rentals.

We have rented boats from Maya at Big Pine Key Boat Rentals three times in the past few years – each time extremely impressed with the boats and the excellent, friendly service that Maya and Big Pine Key Boat Rentals provide. The boats are well maintained, well equipped, and Maya and her staff assist with matching the right boat for us based on sea conditions and are readily available to answer any questions we’ve had and give excellent advice that has greatly enhanced our boating experiences in the Keys. We didn’t know about Newfound Harbor Marine Sanctuary area until Maya told us about it last year – it is a way cool snorkeling site, and easier to get to if it’s a bit too rough to get to / snorkel at Looe Key.

It is a pleasure dealing with Maya at Big Pine Key Boat Rentals, and we look forward to many more years renting from them when we boat in the Keys!

We stayed in Key Largo (about an hour or more away) and took a chance to drive down to this location off of Summerland Key as the man on the phone seemed so informative. Also, He allowed 12 hours for a full day rental instead of the standard 8 hours. We paid $375.00 and NO Deposit!!! I must add that my husband is a boat/yacht detailer so when we first saw the boats I was a little concerned. They were not very appealing to the eye- BUT WE HAVE HIGH STANDARDS. To most maybe this isnt a big deal, i suppose. They ran great and served the intended purpose... Catching Lobster! Joe and his wife were so extremely helfpful, as well as his handy-man local guide. We did not pay any extra for advice and they put us right on top of the lobster in 2 locations. We didnt even have to go far AT ALL! Fuel was reasonable as he gave us gas cans and told us to get it down the street and save $2+ per gallon. He also checked the fuel level and refunded what we didnt use. Overall, this was a fabulous experience and we intend on returning again next year.
