Sea View Hotel is a renewed vintage hotel with a beautiful view.

Pros:
Our room was simply magical, huge, beautiful and with a kitchenette
Great location
Outstanding view on the upper level rooms
Quiet

Cons
They'll charge you for the parking
They'll charge you for the beach and pool towels
They'll charge you for the beach and pool umbrellas
They'll charge you for the beach and pool seats
If you flush your toilet there won't be pressure to take a bath
Outdoors parking
Included breakfast will only offer you one option

Overall, the hotel has potential but the administration is not that good; The service is good but you'll feel like asking permission to do anything.

Room Tip: Pick the upper levels rooms and ask for the king bed ones.

We acknowledge receipt of your kind comments towards our hotel. All the hotels in Miami Beach, charge for the parking facilities. Concerning the additional charges we have a Resort Fee, that includes : Pool and beach towels, umbrellas, pool and beach seats, gym facilities and Wi-Fi in all our premises.
Will continue working harder looking forward to serve all our valuable guests.
Willing to have the opportunity to serve you in a near future.

Little boutique hotel right across Bal Harbour Shops, oceanfront building. The hotel has one of the best locations. We were close enough to South Beach and far enough from the hustle of it.
I loved the local beach. The hotel was cozy and charming.
Great low key hotel.

Hotel is in very good area but it is almost 2 star! Prices are too high and not worth it to spend your holiday in this hotel.

Steam Iron in the room is rubbish and they have noisy Refrigerator! Also it is empty! I don't know why they block money for safety !

Dear Alex Z,
Thank you for your feedback from your most visit with at the Sea Vie Hotel. We appreciate your comments and sharing them with future traveling guests. It's paramount to us that our guests have a great experience as this is out goal. We work hard to achieve this by training staff, discussing concerns and continually updating our property. Our price point is the most competitive in Bal Harbour for the value. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations but invite you back again to make sure that we do. Conveying your concerns to our front desk staff is important as we would need to know what issues to address to make your stay the best one ever.
We hope to see you again real soon and please reach out to our reservations department should you decide to return in order to make sure you have a satisfying experience the second time around.
Much Regards,
Anthony Hill

The rooms seem to be newly renovated and are ok, but the bathroom in my room was very small, actually a cubicle the lenght of the shower stall. Staff at check-in and check-out was extremely unfriendly for american standards, the pool deck and the furniture in the cabanas around the pool need an upgrade. Even if you do not use the pool, they charge you a "resort fee" of USD 20 per day! Plus USD 20 for parking! With the room charge, this adds up to a tab which is too expensive for this hotel which, by the way, seems to be full of retirees. Bottom line: There are better offers around in Miami (North) Beach and there is no reason for me to return to this place at all.

Dear HansM1959,
Thank you for taking the time to share with other travelers about your experience with us. It's paramount we know what our guests are thinking and feeling while visiting the Sea View Hotel. Our bathrooms tend to be a bit smaller than the surrounding newer properties because back when the hotel was built in the late 40's, bathroom sizes were not a priority. The main concern was larger closets which we proudly have. Our guests used to visit for one to two months at a time so having space for their belongings was most important. As for our resort and parking fee's, we can proudly state that we are the most competitive on the beach. Other surrounding properties charge $40.00 per day or more for resort and parking fee's. We understand that travelers to our hotel do not wish to pay these fee's thus this is why we have decided to keep our fee's at a minimum.
We hope you'll consider us again on your return trip to Bal Harbour.
Regards,
Anthony Hill

Our room was good for what it was; a basic hotel room.

The room was mostly clean. It was a pretty grubby on the bedside tables and there were a few spots which were dirty but the beds were clean.

Bathroom was tiny. There was no room at all to place any toiletries. However the bathroom was clean.

It was good but I probably wouldn't stay there again. I expect more from a hotel room in Bal Harbor while paying Bal Harbor rates!

Dear AndrewAddison333,
We thank you for your feedback on your most recent stay with us. We are sorry you didn't feel that the room was up to your standards as we try our best to meet and exceed our guests expectations. If there is ever an issue with one of our rooms, please advise us as we can manage it better while you are a guest in the hotel. Our staff is trained to go out of our way to make you, the guest, feel as comfortable as possible at all times, but we can only do so if we are informed during your stay. The bathrooms in our hotel are slightly smaller than the newer properties in and around Bal Harbour because when the hotel was built in the late 40's, the expectation of our guests were that they will be staying for months at a time, thus the bathroom was not as important. The closets on the other hand are sizable and that's what mattered to our long term guests for they needed the comfort of being able to arrange their belongings for over a month at a time in a convenient manner.
We look forward to seeing you again real soon. After all, we do have the most competitive rates in Bal Harbour.
All the best,
Anthony Hill
