“THE BEST!!!”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

My dear friend Paula took me here for the first time & I am in awe! Yuletide Tour was so amazing & our tourguide Donna was great. I took lots of pictures and plan on going back for the Spring tour. Don't eat there as it's expensive (bottle of water $3) and not very good!

“Yuletide Tour is great!”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

The traditional dried flower tree is a must-see. The American furniture is the best collection in the world. You'll never see it all so plan to return the next day as your ticket is good for 2 days.

“Nice museum, gardens and house”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

I have been to the museum for various exhibits, toured the house at several seasons and been through the gardens. always refreshing to the spriit. It is a tribute to the DuPont family that theese mansions are now museums and open to the public.

“Beautiful!!”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

This a must see when visiting the area. They allow photographs, but no video cameras. They were extremely organized. Make sure to get there early so that you can take the tram ride and associated tour up to the house.

“An American success story”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

We would not normally like to encourage visiting sites that pay homage to extreme wealth; but this particular duPont heir had a love of everything American, and set up his 175 room home on 2500 acres as a museum for future generations to see and enjoy. Well worth a long, one day visit.
