Opa Opa has become my go-to place for authentically prepared Greek street food. It's a tiny restaurant, and does get crowded fast, but if there is a line, it's worth the wait. Regardless, service is friendly and fast. The dining room is spotless, and is cheerfully decorated in the traditional Hellenic colors, blue and white.
While Opa's menu is not extensive, all the favorites are served here...gyros, souvlaki, dolmades, etc. Don't miss the avgolemono (lemon and rice) soup, and save room for dessert, especially their delicious baklava.
No liquor license here, but get take out and pick up a bottle of retsina at Frank's for a taste of the Mediterranean good life.
