As a fan of Hilton brand hotels, this one did not disappoint... well, might have been better if they had wine during the evening reception! :-)

Have stayed in 1 and 2 bedrooms... both equally pleasant. Would LOVE an indoor pool, but that's not a deal breaker for us. Gym is well equiped!

Breakfast was nice with various flavors available for waffles. Kept daughter guessing!

Staff always pleasant.

This is a very nice, clean Hilton property. A few caveats...even though their website states that dinner and drinks are served from 5 to 7, no alcohol is served here.
The shocker was that breakfast was done by 9! I went to the gym and came down for breakfast at 9:15 am to find everything cleaned up and put away. Clearly not business traveler friendly.
The service by staff members was exceptional in every way, but this hotel does not offer the same level of amenities as other Homewoods. The Courtyard Marriott next door may be a better choice .

This hotel is perfect for travelers. It has everything you can imagine. The suites are spacious. There is a complete kitchen with microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher, utensils, pots and pans, glasses, cups, everything. The living room is large and then there is a nice size bedroom. The free breakfast buffet is more than adequate. The staff was friendly and professional. We asked for a quiet room, away from the elevators and that's what we had. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is perfect, because you are out of the nosy downtown Wilmington and convenient to everything you might need. The weekday rate is a little high for the area, but the weekend rate is very reasonable.

Room Tip: I always request a room on the hghest floor away from the elevator. That worked well here.

For several years when visiting Wilmington we have found Homewood Suites on Rocky Run Parkway to be welcoming, congenial and roomy. The rooms are always sparkling and after a long trip to get there, the bath and bed is more than can be asked for.

The staff has always been helpful and anxious to provide.

We have already booked our next stay.

Room Tip: Avoid the first floor up over the kitchens.

This hotel was very clean and nice. It was very close to some beautiful attractions such as the Hagley Museum, Nemours Mansion, Winterthur and not very far from Longwood Gardens. All of these DuPont estates were lovely and worth the visit.
