“Awesome food!”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

I give Moro's five stars for the food and four stars for the service and ambiance.

My wife and I decided to go with the Chef's Tasting Menu. I highly recommend doing this as long as you don't have any dietary restrictions. We opted for the 5 courses menu. We got two seafood items, two red meat items, one palate cleanser and one dessert item. I won't go into the details of what we got as the suspense is half the fun. Go with an open mind. We ate and truly enjoyed food we would've never ordered off the menu. We were extremely full by the end.

The service was just slightly lacking. We had to keep asking for water. I'm not sure if it's because that's how it is at upscale restaurants?? Also, the waiter was a nice guy and knowledgeable, but he seemed to always be in a hurry to move on.

The ambiance is nice, but it was hot in there. In addition to the heat wave last week, the restaurant has an open kitchen, so it made the inside hot as well.

I would definitely go back to Moro's.

“Been there twice and will go back again!”

I had rack of lamb and the Moro salad. My husband had veal and we both enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent.

“Third try .. still strong”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Love going back to one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We had a large group and everyone was very happy with the quality of the food served. We also dipped into the dessert menu and ordered some treats for those celebrating birthdays. Not of big fan of the ravioli appetizer but a everything else was spot on. Will be sure to return soon.

“Exceptional”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Our first night we went to Eclipse which was very good. But then we went to Moro. The service, the appetizer, the entrée, the wine, the ambiance, the dessert ... everything was exceptional. A little pricey but worth it.

“Foodies and others take notice”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

You can't get more creative gourmet food in any other restaurant in New Castle County in our opinion. Try the 5 course tasting menu if you like surprises and have a more sophisticated palate. One time we were served snow crab meat risotto as an appetizer that was to die for. Another time we had tuna served in a variety of styles. The only disappointment is the portions are small in the tasting menu. We still love this restaurant and highly recommend it to people who are looking for something a little more gourmet and a little unusual.
