Visiting UD, late evening, not many open places, tried this one. We will certainly come back. Open till late, friendly service next to the bar area, offers good local beer and fair pizza. My son had egg rolls and he loved them. Overall, in the breweries category, a very good, clean, friendly place. Get good value for your money.

Ate here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Although the restaurant was not busy at all, our server was slow. We love the atmosphere and the food but probably won't return because of the poor service.

Today there were 6 of us for lunch. Our server, Taneeka, was initially attentive but as the meal progressed, we saw less and less of her. We had to call her over to ask for refills of our drinks. When we finished our entrees.there was no sign of her and we sat there with our dirty plates in front of us until we asked another server to find her. At that point a different server came out and said that Taneeka was busy with another order. She cleared the table and eventually Taneeka reappeared.
The food at Iron Hill is consistently good and service is usually great. We were at the restaurant at 12:30 and didn't leave until 2:15, way too long.

Stopped here for our first time on a Saturday afternoon for dinner. Easy to find with a large parking lot. The place was crowded with people and more kept coming. The bar is particularly lively but with limited space. There are downstairs and upstairs seating areas. We did not have reservations but only had to wait a few minutes for a requested table upstairs at a window. However, closer to dinner reservations are probably a must.
The service was fast and our waitress asked us several times how everything was with our orders. The upper view is mainly of the outer deck. Our table area was in a quiet section near the top of the stairs.
You can request samples of the beers you would like to try, plus their homemade root beer. After our samples, I had the Iron Hill Light Lager and my husband had the Vienna Red Lager - we loved our selections. The flavor was good and the beer had nice heads. I had tried the root beer and have to say that it was just average for me.
Since many on tripadvisor raved about the hand cut Carolina sweet potato fries, we had to order them. The plate is large and enough for two people. There are 3 interesting dips that are on the side - a lime habinero hot one, a sweet cinnabon tasting one of bourbon vanilla cream and my fave dip being the smoked paprika aioli. We also ordered the Blue Crab Quesadilla appetizer which my husband enjoyed but I felt needed a little more crab.
I would recommend this restaurant for the food, the beer and the atmosphere. We will return.
