“Love this Place, but the Food is Average (Cash Only!)”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

I love Angelo's. They practically hug you when you enter the corner store luncheonette. The food is made to order and quality. There's nothing special on the menu. No signature creations, just the friendliest service on the face of the Earth. The food is "good". The breakfast sausage doesn't really appeal to me. It tastes odd....but made to their original recipe by a Philadelphia sausage-maker (per the owner). The breakfast sandwich that I had was $4.10 (Rye toast, Scrapple, Egg and Cheese). My Dad's breakfast was Rye Toast, Eggs, Hash Browns, and Sausage....$2.40.....Do the math.

Still recommended.......

An original diner with none of the overdone imitation. Good, solid breakfast fodder and lovely staff

“Got to Try It”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Muzzie is the owner. His dad started the place back just before dirt was invented. Great local breakfast and lunch food. But the environment is great. A bunch of locals talking about local stuff and the entire place is done in '50's and '60's stuff.

“Forty Acres landmark”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Angelo's has been around since I was a kid and I am now well into my 50's. The food has always been very good and the owners are warm and welcoming. There is something to be said for the family owned business. Old fashioned luncheonette style dining. Good food and good prices.
