“A Very Special Event”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

We recently held a special luncheon at Harry's. The attention to detail, the assistance with the menu, and room selection was all done with great care and professionalism. The food was delicious and the venue perfect in every way.

“3 Miles Off I-95, Great Find, Gluten Free Accomodating”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

If you're willing to wander off I-95 a couple of miles for a great meal, atmosphere and break, this wonderful restaurant is worth it. My wife and I stumbled upon it, looking simply for a place with a burger. What a BURGER! Deliciously cooked...with careful attention to ensure everything put in front of her was gluten free as she requires. They checked with the kitchen about the salad dressing, something most restaurants don't think of. I had a fabulous turkey club. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. If you get a booth off to the side, the ceiling slopes downward there to make it feel even more private. The service here is outstanding and friendly. And the prices? Stunning for a restaurant that features creative farm to table meals as well as comforting favorites. Granted, this was a lunch menu. But almost everything below $15. Good wine, too. Coming back here on trips to Philly and NY will be a no-brainer from now on.

“Go for Happy Hour”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

We went for happy hour and ended up order food at the bar. The sliders were fantastic and the selection of beers was incredible. Several years had gone by since I had lunch here, but the food was still the same....Excellent! Lunch and Dinner can be a bit pricey.

“Great Prime Rib”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

A friend of mine mentioned that she had always wanted to eat here, and on our way back from the Philadelphia Flower Show yesterday, she had her wish come true. She ordered six oysters as an appetizer, and she said that although three of them were fresh and delicious, the other three (a different kind) were on the "dirty" side. She stated her main course of grilled salmon, at $30, was totally lacking in any kind of seasonings. I noticed that the piece of salmon was no more than two inches wide and perhaps 6 inches long.

I ordered an appetizer of prosciutto with a cheese and melon slices. It was tasty, and the proper size for an appetizer. I also ordered the 12 ounce prime rib. This was quite delicious. It is recommended that you order it medium rare, which I did, and as other reviewers have stated, it did come swimming in its juices. The prime rib does come with au gratin potatoes.

Everything else on the menu is a la carte. A side order of chopped Brussel sprouts was $6.50, same as the steamed asparagus.

Although I thought the prime rib was good, at almost $30, with nothing else included (but those au gratin potatoes) I thought the menu was on the high side.

Prime rib is really the reason to come here, but you will most certainly pay for it. It would not be my personal preference to return, too many other more reasonable dinner choices abound.
