Three cheese chicken with Alfredo sauce contained 6 pitiful and thinly sliced pieces of grilled chicken. I know it's only $10.99 for the dish but the amount if chicken was pitiful. I don't expect much when I fine at Applebee's but this was very sad. Times must be tough!

On a spur-of-the moment decision, my wife and I decided to have lunch at Applebee's. They, like many other chains, offer really low-priced ($6.99-8.99) lunch combos, so we thought we'd try them. I got the American BLT with a house salad; wife got the Grilled Chicken Wonton Tacos, also with a house salad (both $6.99).

They were both extremely good – 5-star good! What was not so good were the drinks. I ordered mango iced tea and she ordered the raspberry iced tea. Both were highly diluted, almost devoid of taste, and had only some tiny pieces of ice in them that could have been covered by a half-dollar. The reason was apparent: The glasses had been filled probably half way with crushed ice, then filled with room-temperature (or warmer) tea. That melted all but a tiny fraction of the ice and, of course, diluted the tea to the point where it wasn't much different than water. I mentioned it to the manager in the hope that they change to using ice CUBES and fill the glasses with COLD tea.

Atmosphere was great, as was the fast and attentive service from Brianna. A great place to have a quick and enjoyable lunch.

You can't go wrong at Applebees. Great spot for happy hour or even late night dining. For an added treat, Wednesdays is karaoke night if you're so inclined. Waitstaff, especially at the bar, are always friendly and on point.

I've been here a couple times now, for lunch and dinner. The average cost is 20 per person (includes tips and taxes). The food is excellent and the people most of the times is very nice. Definitely a place to recommend, for family and friends. Not business meetings
