“Loud old people singing crappy karaoke. Oh, and mediocre food”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

There are better options than this "local hangout". We were referred here by the resort we were staying at. Old ladies were working the front desk that should have been a sign.

Old people singing bad karaoke so loud you can't even have a conversation. Bar is dingy and the food is ok. I got a cobb salad with crabmeat on it that was ok but it was overpriced at $15.

There are better options in the area. Go to Harpoon Hannas.

“Best Crabs and Karaoke”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Parking can be a problem due to the popularity of this place. Home of a Ravens Roost - owners Chery and Becky Stewart have devoted 24/7 to make this happen and are keeping it going big time. Specials daily, crab specials always, fabulous sunset view on the bay, lots of loyal fans - great bar staff, especially Donna. The Girlz (Cheryl and Becky) run the best karaoke on the beach - Thursday/Friday and Saturday during the season and Friday/Saturday all year round. Friendly atmosphere - the Cheers! of Rt. 54.

“Stay away if not ordering the AYCE crabs.....”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

Not sure how the AYCE crabs are, but everyone seems to come here for them - unfortunately for us we are not crab eaters.
So, if you order anything else of the menu - HORRIBLE. All the sides come out of a can (even in the summertime - yuck). The fried seafood combo - some was fresh fish and some was frozen. How do you serve a dinner with a mixture of prepared foods. I really don't think they make anything from scratch. I would call before going to make sure they are still in business.

“Best Karaoke bar at the beach, or anywhere for that matter!”
Reviewed May 25, 2012

Cheryl and Becky have a great thing going with karaoke and crowd. Everyone joins in. Once there, you don't want to leave.

“This should be on Diners , Drive Ins and Dives”
Reviewed January 15, 2012

We have visited this place twice when we where in Ocean City Md .(we got a coupon from
Restaurant.com). In season they are excellent and in the off season very good do to the
morel limited menu. As they say don't judge a book by it's cover there are more locals and a great view of the bay . During the season people are eating all you can eat crabs which are dumped on the table in the off season this was not available . However the limit the menu to what is fresh not frozen. I had a steak with a double side of stewed tomatoes because they where so good from our first visit and just as good on our second . My wife had a hamburger which shy enjoyed . The bar tender was doing double duty serving the tables as well as tending bar but the service was great and he checked us a few times to make sure everything was o.k. . The price for both drinks and food was more than resonable since they serve more locals than tourists.
We where both happy and sad when my wife wanted desert which they did not have . Many places in O.C. in the off season offer deserts which are not fresh and are a frozen item bought from thier food supplier. It is far much better not to ruin a good meal with a bad
ending .
We are regulars to O.C. and will return to the Hawaiian . Take a chance and don't be turned off at the entrance because you will miss good food and a great view from the rear of the marsh and the bay.
