This hotel is right on the main road and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. (Walmart, McDonalds, Applebees, etc.) The hotel will give you a 10% off coupon for Applebees (which is right next door) and Texas Roadhouse (right across the street). The room was updated, clean and comfortable. The desk clerk actually baked cookies and put them out with coffee at night. They smelled and tasted wonderful! The exercise room has an elyptical, treadmill, bike and weight machine, with a cold water dispenser and towels. The pool was very nice and open until well after 10:00pm. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast: cold juices (apple, orange, etc.) milk, coffee, tea, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc.

This hotel is well worth the reasonable price. Stay with confidence!

Room Tip: Rooms come with a refrigerator and a microwave oven. Go get something at one of the local restaurants or Walmart to eat and easily store and re-heat in the room!

I stayed here on the way to a family vacation in North Carolina. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff was professional and courteous. The room was lovely and I especially enjoyed the stylish bathroom. The breakfast was good with many options. I was especially pleased that the comforter was cleaned after each guest. I enjoyed my stay so much I wished I could have stayed longer.

We stayed here for two nights on a last-minute trip (peak-season) to Rehoboth and, even though it was an hour from the beach, I'm still happy we chose it. The primary consideration was price (about half what a closer stay would have cost). We are able to hang out at Rehoboth one day and Ocean City the next (the same driving distance to both). There is a nice free breakfast, and a to-go bag breakfast if you want to get out the door fast. The bed and pillows were like a cloud, and there was a nice clean indoor pool and jacuzzi with stocked clean towels to relax in after coming in from a day at the beach. Free wi-fi, with a laptop desk as well as a regular desk, plenty of lights throughout the room, reading chair, big closet, huge bathroom, a microwave and small fridge. Also right next to Walmart for all the things you forgot! They also provide any toiletries you need at the front desk. In-room coffee was good quality and the staff was very nice, especially Joe (maybe John?), who came out to the parking lot to find us when the room was ready for us to check into. Definitely nothing fancy around town, but nice and convenient. Only downside was that they had no late check-out option, and I like to take my sweet time in the mornings on vacation!

Spent one nite on the way to the beach. Room was on the smaller side, tight for a family of four, only one table. Breakfast was abundant, the eggs/meat were not good quality though, and the orange juice was yucky. Staff ok, friendly enuff. Stayed because I was able to use Hilton points, but for 30,000 points, it was definitely not a good value.

The lowest AAA rate we could find for any of the major Lewes / Rehoboth hotels during August was $250 (weekends) / $157 (weeknights). We are willing to pay $250 for a four diamond resort style hotel or one on the ocean, but not for a three diamond hotel on a highway. BTW…July 2011 we stayed in Sleep Inn & Suites, Lewes and the weekday rates were $115 / night. That’s a 37% increase…hmmm… my salary went up only 2% during that same time…

To save some money, we elected to stay in Hampton Inn, Seaford ($152 / weekends / $107 weeknights). The hotel, room, bathroom, and breakfast met all expectations for a typical three diamond lodging. It was clean, kept up, bright and cheery and the staff was courteous. The wireless Internet was free and available as were the computers in the hotel business center. This property does not allow pets.

Always a welcome site for us was the in-room microwave and refrigerator. A mirrored closet door, two night tables, desk, rolling desk chair, arm chair with ottoman, dresser with three drawers, 32” flat screen TV mounted on a stand on top of the dresser, and a table for luggage rounded out the room. We found the king sized bed comfy and the linen clean and fresh; however, it did not have triple sheets and the pillows were small. The air conditioner was quite noisy and required us to have the TV sound uncomfortably high. There was a clock radio as opposed to an iHome device that would allow us to play and charge our iPhone.

The bathroom was mold free, a nice size and had a curved shower curtain bar. There was a large vanity sink in the bathroom. The one thing lacking was a clothes line in the tub area to hang our wet bathing suites after our swim. I always wonder why hotels would rather swim suites dripping all over the floor instead of in the bathtub.

For us, the temperature in the indoor pool area was about five degrees too hot as was the water in the hot tub; however, we tend to like things on the cooler side.

The property is on a highway, sits in front of Walmart and is within a few miles of many fast food restaurants. The hotel issues a 10% discount coupon for Applebee’s is which is within walking distance. The hotel breakfast was delicious and we found the scrambled eggs a nice addition. The breakfast room was clean and large enough to accommodate the quests.

We had planned on staying three nights; however, we found the distance (40-45 minutes) from Lewes too far and decided to bite the bullet and pay the going rates of Sleep Inn & Suites, Lewes for the remaining two nights. Since the remaining two nights were week nights, Sleep Inn & Suites, Lewes rates came down a bit (but so did the Seaford rates). This was a mistake…if the Hampton Inn, Seaford is rated three diamonds, then the Sleep Inn & Suites, Lewes should be no higher than a two diamond. They are definitely not on the same level.
