Went here last week with my husband and daughter, who both have gluten allergies (actually, celiac disease). It appealed to us that Fins has a menu with gluten-free options noted on it. My daughter ordered the barramundi, broiled and with a gluten-free sauce. It was fine. My husband ordered the grilled snook with gluten-free sauce and sides. It came to him, as ordered, but the fish was uncooked inside. He sent it back and asked for the barramundi with the same sides. This time the fish was cooked properly, but served on top of a pile of mac and cheese (a big no-no for a gluten allergy). He attempted to scrape it off, and ate around it, but still was ill later in the evening. Coincidentally, a woman seated next to us was also ordering gluten-free, and she ordered a clam dish which was on the gluten-free menu, but came to her table with 2 big pieces of bread on top of it. When a restaurant makes claims to be gluten aware and friendly, they really need to get it right or their customers can seriously suffer.
