They offer one of the nicest quality & quantity breakfasts in the world. Ice Cream is also second to none! Like grandma's house!!!

If you decide to visit Royal Treat, plan on getting in line early during the summer if you want a porch table as it is a very popular spot just off the boardwalk. Even though we weren't able to get a porch table the seating in the other rooms in this former beach boarding house are pleasant as well. The building retains an old-fashioned charm including having wooden floors. We had a very short wait before ordering. Breakfast items such as eggs can be ordered ala carte but the best deal is to order one of their numbered breakfast selections that include a beverage (coffee, tea, juices). All of our food was served piping hot. The Italian French toast was delicious! My fried eggs were cooked perfectly and came with 4 slices of crisp bacon. The omelets were large and the fillings were fresh. Our only regret was that we didn't discover this place earlier in our vacation so that we could come back for another breakfast.
A nice little spot for breakfast and the beach. Fast friendly service. The omelette was amazing. Also had to try the hot cakes and I was not disappointed. Good thing I was going for a bike ride that day because I could barely move afterwards. We will visit again next time here!
This place has such an amazing down south atmosphere, family owned and operated for 30 years. They serve you insane amounts of food, enough for breakfast the next day, and the wait staff is impeccable. Couldn't have been happier! Try the Italian toast!
We have breakfast here almost everyday while we are at the beach. I love sitting on the screened in porch watching people walk by. The food is nothing fancy, but its good. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is b/c sometimes the homefries are a little overdone.
