I dined at this restaurant when it was Old Bay and that experience was so-so. Some of the menu is similar from my recollection but they're definitely doing a much better job. We ordered side salads which were huge, and only $2 with our entrees, the shrimp pesto with penne and the prime rib. The shrimp pesto was in a white sauce and was quite rich! Very good flavor - lots of cream, garlic and parmesan - and a nice size portion. The other member in my party got the 12oz(?) prime rib which was a great size and presentation. Only problem with his was it was served medium well as opposed to the medium rare which was recommended by the server and ultimately chosen by him, and it came with gravy on top. The beef gravy choice seemed odd as most prefer prime rib plain, or with a demi-glace or horseradish sauce on the side. Not sure if they were trying to cover up the "doneness" of the steak, or? In any event, he said the flavor was good, he just would have done without the gravy. It was overkill as he put it.
We each had a drink. I had a New Fashioned, which was excellent. Very light and fruity. He had a Moscow Mule. If you love fresh, spicy ginger, this is your drink!
Service was a bit slow, but not terrible. Our waitress was just a little scattered though the restaurant was not busy. We had set our expectations pretty low going in so we definitely weren't disappointed. There are lots of better restaurants in the area but this one is improving, and we will be back again sometime soon.
