“You could do worse at the beach”
Reviewed June 16, 2010

The food here is entirely mediocre. Some it was pretty tasty - the quesadilla wasn't bad, but my husband's fried clam sandwhich had so much grit in it he couldn't eat it at all. It's not terribly hard to wash clams. The only reason it was ok was that our server, Sergei, was very friendly and fast. We had a large group and made sure that we had drinks and chips and salsa while we waited. Everything we asked for he brought right away. This may sound like what waiters are supposed to do, but I have found that at the beach so many truly awful places stay full because you have no other choice. It was pretty clean and cute, but if I had a choice I'd go somewhere with better food. But you may have none since things can get so crowded in the summer.

“Not impressed at all!”
Reviewed June 15, 2010

We decided to try Dos Locos on the last day of Restaurant Week. Bad decision. We did call ahead for reservations and were seated in 5 minutes. But then we sat there for 15 minutes before our waiter came to get drink orders. The restaurant isnt very big and they try to squeeze as many people into the place as possible so you are sitting right on top of each other. I asked our waiter about the Restuarant Week specials, since it wasn't in the menu, and he shrugged and looked at us like he had no idea what we were talking about. Why be a part of Resaurant Week and then not offer it?!?!? When we ordered 4 out of 5 people in our party had to repeat our order because our waiter didn't speak or understand english very well at all. Most of us got Fajitas and they were average at best. They were pretty bland and the side of rice was the worst I ever had. The front of the restaurant was open to look out of the Rehoboth crowd, which you would think as nice, but with the high humidity it caused the restaurant to be a extremely hot and the flys were uncontrollable. With all of the variety of restaurants in RB, we will definitely go somewhere else next time.

“Delicious.”
Reviewed June 9, 2010

A family dinner on vacation that was not wasted. We love good food and here we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had chicken fajitas, which consisted of two grilled chicken breasts, sauteed onions and peppers, rice and beans (choice of refried or black), cheese, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo with tortillas. The only flaw, if you could call it that, was that the rice was a little dry. My spouse had the pork tomatillo burrito ordered spicy and it was out of this world. He said it was probably the best burrito he's ever had and I agree - muy delicioso!! We also ordered chips with salsa and guacamole, two children's meals, children's drinks and dos cervesa (two beers). Our bill total with tax was $70. Enrique was our waiter and he was friendly and efficient. Service was spot on. We will definitely eat here again and would recommend it without reservation. One note for families: strollers are not allowed in the restaurant so leave them in your hotel.

“Excellent Mexican at Reasonable Prices”
Reviewed April 13, 2010

Food was outstanding. Highly recommend "hot plates" on Tuesdays. Chicken enchaladas very good also. Wait staff very helpful. Not a typical tourtist trap. House margaritas reasonably priced and tasty. Substituting a better tequila could lead to an unpleasant surprise in your bill. Nightly special and house margarita - and you wont be disappointed.
