“Good Mexican food/Gluten-free options”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

Dos Locos is a good place for good Mexican (and other) food. There are several choices for those eating gluten-free. Casual as well. We have also ordered take-out and they do it up right. There was everything you could possibly want in that bag!

“Nice meal!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. We ate dinner here on New Year's Eve. Our server behaved in a luke warm manner to us, but was adequate. I like that you can order entrees at this restaurant that include lobster. This is a rare find and quality lobster was used in the dishes. The beans, guac, rice and tortilla chips all were delicious. I felt that our entrees arrived 5 minutes or so too early as we were still enjoying our appetizer. My husband ordered a large margarita. It was so large that we could have shared the drink. I ordered small margarita, but wanted a premium tequila. The server showed me a large list of tequilas that I could choose from for my drink. He did not provide any recommendations in order to make the process easier for me. Our server did not provide us with any guidance when ordering our drinks. I got the feeling that he worked a really long shift and was ready to call it a night.

Overall the food quality was high and I would return again in the future for another meal.

“One of our favorites had a really bad night-”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

one of our favorite restaurants for the family on weekends in rehoboth- this night was very different- We noticed the owner wasnt there, which is normally is- The service was actually very bad. the waiters are normally fantastic and our new waiter was bad, unfriendly and rude. The food was off as well. Bland and not it normal quality- disappointing but hope it was just an off night? I truly hope so but wanted to let the owners know when they arent there, what really goes on. We will be back and hope for the best!

“Good food, big portions & friendly staff!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2013 via mobile

There are several choices for Mexican style food in the Rehoboth area... LaTonalteca, El Dorado, Cilantro, Mariachi, etc. But we have decided to visit Dos Locos several times this fall and have to say we have enjoyed our visits.

There is Stone Grilling (where you grill your own food at the table on a HOT stone) and normal Mexican choices and of course drinks. Chips and salsa are complimentary.

Quesadeas are our favorites - try the shrimp and crab one! EXCELLENT. There are other dishes with combinations of enchiladas, tacos, burritos in pork, chicken, beef choices (as well as vegetarian) that are excellent. Food is fresh and prepared quickly. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. I suspect that if one wants items extra spicy or mild the kitchen can assist since items are made as ordered.

One downside is that there usually is a wait in - season and reservations are NOT accepted. Alex the greeter/front door maitre ' d will work with you if you arrive early enough and have a special request for seating areas.

All in all, it is a toss up for us between Mariachi and Dos Locos when downtown... Both are good choices and have good food. Recommend checking out both menus then decide.
