We stopped here on a rainy midweek day. It was an early dinner, and the place was only beginning to fill up. The experience was really enjoyable: the service was warm, friendly, and attentive, but not overbearing; the place felt cosy and comfortable. We noticed that several other tables had groups of what seemed like regular customers, and the staff treated them like old friends. We got traditional dishes--a clam strips appetizer, a crab cake sandwich, a fish and chips dinner. All of them were truly excellent, and the fish and chips was the best I have had in years. Definitely recommended.
