a(MUSE) is one of the best restaurants in downtown Rehoboth. My wife and I go to the beach almost every weekend and we enjoy eating out. On our most recent visit to a(MUSE), we went for Happy Hour and were able to try a number of great dishes from this highly recommended (well deserved/justified) restaurant. We highly recommend you order a variety of the small and larger plates to give you a chance to experience the incredible depth of this restaurant. We also recommend reviewing the excellent mixed drink list!

(a)MUSE has an intriguing menu; a lot of creative thought has obviously gone into it. It also shows great care for its customers. On a recent visit, I began by ordering a very complicated appetizer; after about ten minutes (very acceptable in this atmosphere, with speciality drinks and good focaccia bread) the server returned to tell us that the chef was not satisfied with the way the appetizer had "sat" -- it was a potted chicken dish, so that was important. He offered to create another appetizer based on what I liked about the original, and charged only a fraction of the price for it by way of apology. Dinner was gnocchi with turnips, apples and brussels sprouts. Amazing. Touched with paprika honey. The only reason I am giving a rating of four instead of five is that the dessert, a deconstructed pineapple upside down cake, was only so-so. A caveat: the main courses are few; the variety and number of first courses, however, more than make up for that.

Highly recommend trying out a(Muse) for Happy Hour as it provides a less expensive way to experience this restaurant's great food. Great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Cheers. In addition to their early Happy hour, they also have a late night option that begins at 9pm.

After reading the reviews for a(MUSE) numerous times, we checked it out Valentine's Day weekend. First off, kudos to the bartender (David)--he was pleasant, efficient, entertaining, and knowledegeable (try finding that these days). He also makes a GREAT mixed drink! We did the small plates--the most outstanding of which was the lamb bolognese. Simply wonderful! The potato soup was incredibly good, as was the bread with olive oil. I had the fish special--it was flaky and perfectly cooked. We wish we had room dessert...will try it on the next visit.

a(Muse) is a dining experience. The care, thought, creativity and humor :-) that go into the various dishes and presentations of the food are nothing short of amazing!
That being said, if you are interested in this type of experience, please dine here. If you just want to eat dinner quickly or want your "four square" type of meal, you may want to come another time.
Chef Hari is not just a chef but an artist. I have dined here many times since a(Muse) opened in May 2012. My most memorable meal was the 11 course tasting. My husband and I were there for about 4 hours and the menu started with an amuse from the kitchen and proceeded through the eleven different courses. It truely was the most memorable meal of my life.
Favorites: Toad in the Hole, the potted chicken is to die for, the diver scallops, any of Hari's soups. Deserts: Who could not love "The Beach"? A scoop of wheat ice cream, covered with crushed hazelnuts to resemble sand with a scattering of house made white chocolate sea shells!
The restaurant is casual. However, the veteran staff is extremely knowegable about the food, menu and wine. The table side coffee service is a nice touch. Also, excellent bar atmosphere, great bartenders!
Again, AMAZING!!!
