Being our second time at the Avenue Inn we were kind of disappointed on the quality of the room and food. i do not understand why your establishment names the room we had Poolside King when it is neither by the pool or even on the same floor. The room was on the 2nd floor and the pool was on the 3rd.
I understood that this room was handicap accessible but the shower was more of a handicap.
I did not like the fact that the shower only had a hose connected shower head and the water pressure was poor.
Also did not like the pillows offered. They were bulky and uncomfortable.
As for the breakfast I did not appreciate the way all the items were presented as individual servings. I did not like my eggs with a crust.
Also did not appreciate the cups of fruit and the lack of variety.
In general the Avenue Inn is well run and love the amenities it offers.
In the future we will be more careful in the room we choose.
I do not mind spending more for quality but not when the quality has been changed.

We stayed at the Avenue Inn the last week in August into Labor Day weekend, which made our stay a bit pricy. However, we loved it so much that and know that if we return to Rehoboth we will definitely stay there again. The hotel was clean and conveniently, centrally located within walking distance to everything in Rehoboth, which has a lovely beach, nice main street and a wonderful selection of restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially with the rides to and from the beach for those carrying lots of beach gear. The complimentary breakfast and early evening snacks, cookies and coffee and tea service were really nice and added to the comfort of our stay - even the kids enjoyed them. We didn't get to use the spa, but I hope to next time. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rehoboth beach.

Once again had a great time at the Avenue Inn!! The rooms were neat and clean and the breakfast was delicious. We love the Wine and cheese in the evening-nice touch! We have been going to the Avenue Inn for the past 15 years and have always been very happy!!
They certainly take good care of their customers!!!

We stayed during Jazz fest weekend. Avenue Inn is wonderful very quiet great service wine and cheese during Happy hour! Our experience was wonderful we go every year and will continue. Our room had a balcony facing Rehobeth Ave it was beautiful to sit outside and have a drink. Thanks again for your hard work keeping the place so clean. We will continue to support you!

This was our second stay at Avenue Inn. When we lucked upon it last year, we knew we'd be back! The Inn is only 2 blocks from the beach, has below ground parking, a lovely lobby, and the rooms are great! We had a room with a balcony both times, on the third floor, which was convenient for people-watching and to get to the indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was large, with a comfy sofa, microwave, and frig, and we borrowed a DVD player at no charge to watch a movie we had brought along. (But Royal Farms, north on Rehoboth Avenue, has a RedBox, too.) We enjoyed the free wine and cheese/crackers and cookies each night, ate the breakfast one morning and used the voucher to eat at the Corner Grille on another morning. This hotel is so nice and so close to the beach that we will be back again!

Room Tip: Rehoboth Avenue side if you want to people-watch, other sides of building for quieter stay. If you stay on the third floor, ask for a room away from the pool for a quieter evening.
