Family friendly, reasonably priced rides like no other! Buy a coffee at Cafe-A-GoGo, a pastry on Penny Lane, and head to a bench on the boardwalk for some people watching or a beautiful sunrise. Buy a kite at the Kite Shop and play in the sand.no matter what season, Rehoboth is a treasure to uncover, one jewel at a time, from quality restaurants to chic shops with one of a kind items.

Rehoboth beach boardwalk is a friendly and safe place to enjoy the shops and eateries most of the year. However, avoid it during Senior Week. High School Senior act out with indecent sexual behavior, drinking, drugs and vulgarity. They also attract criminals from Baltimore and DC.

We love the beach and shops along Rehoboth Ave. We were disappointed this past summer when we were trying to enjoy our ice cream, however, a group passed by swearing and yelling at each other in the most vulgar way. Yuk! Who wants to expose their family to such inappropriate talk and behavior. There were also teens leaning up against a pole kissing. Well, it is real life, however, I felt like we were being forced to watch a reality TV show that we didn't want to watch.

The Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is a mile-long well-maintained walkway lined with shops, hotels, restaurants, and amusements. My husband and I enjoyed walking it when we visited in late June, when it bustled with ice cream stands and amusement park rides, and we enjoy walking it in fall when most of the summer attractions have closed. The fall has a distinct advantage for us because parking is free and pets are welcome. Some of the restaurants remain open after the season ends sometime after Columbus Day, but in any time of year it's wonderful to walk in a safe location with restrooms and restaurants next to the ocean.

The Rehoboth Beach boardwalk has a lot of nice shops and restaurants and is within walking distance of several hotels including the Beach View Hotel. My favorite shops on the boardwalk are the sea shell shop, candy kitchen, Tidal Rave tshirt shop, Browseabout Books, and Christmas Spirit. My family and I go to Rehoboth Beach every year.
