This was my first visit to Rehoboth Beach. What made the biggest impression was the amount of shops. There was one enormous strip of outlet malls for what seemed like two miles on both sides of the highway before you get to the boardwalk. There was the Tanger Outlet Mall as well as every other store you could think of. On the street that actually led you to the boardwalk and beach were shops on both sides of that street (cant remember name of street) and of course every type of food you could possibly want. When you actually walked onto the boardwalk there was even more food and souvenier shops! It was definitely a shoppers paradise. The weather was beautiful and the place was crowded. There was a lot of people and a lot of dogs all dressed up for their walk which was really fun to watch. If your a people watcher you'd enjoy the boardwalk too. Plenty of benches to rest on if you need to take a break. You can easily push a stroller or wheelchair as the boardwalk is very flat and easy to navigate. The beach has plenty of easy access if you'd like a closer view of the ocean. There were people in the ocean If you were inclined to take a dip; although we felt the water and thought it was pretty cold. Prices on food and clothing are very, very reasonable. Everything is on sale at this time of year; most things half off and even more. We ate a place called Finnegans which is an Irish Pub. Food was good for a quick meal of burgers and fries. They gave you plenty of food and the atmosphere was really nice. I think theres plenty to do for eveyone and its worth making the trip if you've never been. I know the shops are open based on the weather. So if its going to be cold...you'll be somewhat disappointed with the actual boardwalk because a lot of shops will be closed.

Loved just walking on the boards and taking in the sights while enjoying an ice cream cone. There are plenty of shops and food places to please everyone. Great town for families

I drive down and visit Rehoboth Beach often with my teenage daughter. It is true parking is hard to find, but if you go down early enough you will find some parking. Some find it much easier to park outside of Rehoboth at the dart parking lot and take the bus or trolly into Rehoboth. We love Rehoboth because of the life guarded ocean, laying out on the beach, and then being able to have several places to choose to eat from. I suggest if you want to vacation there, book your hotel early. Most of the hotels are already booked up. There are several ocean front or ocean view hotels in Rehoboth Beach. http://www.beachadvise.com
