“Absolutely FABULOUS!”
Reviewed November 24, 2006

We booked this little inn based on the tripadvisor reviews. We arrived late on a Friday evening, and the front desk staff were more than accomodating. We booked off season, just to avoid the treacherous beach crowds.

We booked a junior suite with balcony, and were not disappointed. It had a cute little wet bar equipped with fridge, and a nice gas burning fireplace, with 2 winged back chairs situated next to the fireplace. The king sized bed was very comfy, and the balcony had 2 adirondack chairs and a table. The balcony overlooked this quaint little garden area.

The tv was a tad small. I guess it would have been nice to have at least a 27 inch tv, but I think the tv was either a 19 or 20 inch. That is just a minor criticism, and only because we had planned on staying indoors most of our visit. The room had an enormous bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, big enough for two people.

The public library had a gorgeous fireplace, with some nice lounging chairs/ottomans. We walked around and saw the adult hottub, but didn't get a chance to use it. It's equipped with towels, and it's in a covered area. Breakfast in the atrium was good, they had a made to order area, where you could request eggs of your choice. The pastries and hte waffles/french toast, were ok, but they did have a full bacon/sausage area, which is great for the meatlovers in all of us! Breakfast ends at 10:30am, but it would be nice if it went to 11:00AM.

I made an appointment at the Bellmoor spa, and the people were very nice. The massage, was nice, and the ambiance was perfect, since I didn't really have to drive anywhere.

I think my only complaint was that the housekeeping staff didn't really clean the room until late in the afternoon, which is prime naptime. Although we saw the housekeeping cart throughout the morning, and we put our sign out, asking for service, they didn't really adhere to it. I think the inn also does a 'turn down', and they only came once, when were were already in bed, and we told them, that it was not necessary. Otherwise, housekeeping did an ok job cleaning the room.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a nice relaxing hotel/inn.

Just spend two nights and the hotel is very nice. The service is good and the staff is friendly, I have to say that they really need to inprove the bed. The beds were not comfortable and need to be upgraded for the price being paid.

We stayed at the Bellmoor in September during a business-related week-end get-away. The Inn is situated several blocks from the ocean/beach and boardwalk. The on-site parking is convenient. The doormen and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is very nicely decorated. The weekend breakfast offered an omlette bar. The "adult" pool off the garden is small, but the upper deck pool off the spa is a nice size. We didn't utilize the spa since we had a gift certificate for another spa in town. Refreshments are offered between 3-4 p.m. Our room was spacious with two queen-sized beds, chairs/table, tv, armoire, small desk, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a spacious bathroom with bath robes. Our view was of the parking lot/street, but we didn't pay for the room and didn't spend a lot of time in it either so we can't complain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week at The Bellmoor - yes, we have a bit less cash but it was worth the price! It's a classic. Our room was very comfortable and nicely appointed - victorian with a country flare. We stayed in the Palmer House which is a separate cottage from the main building but this did not present a problem at all. In fact, we believe we preferred it to the main building as the rooms seemed to be only 1 bedrooms therefore, couples only were in this building. It was very quiet. The entire Inn has a sense of calmness and peacefulness. The garden is just delightful - enjoy breakfast outside. Speaking of breakfast, the breakfast is wonderful - everything you need and it's even healthy! On weekends and holidays, the omelette chef appears and does a fabulous job. The library is classic as is the sitting area. We had dinner at Sydney's twice and loved it! Don't miss an opportunity to stay at The Bellmoor - you will not be disappointed!!!

Sited a few blocks from the beach and within walking distance of shopping and many great restaurants, this elegant inn is well worth the hefty charge. Our room was large, well appointed and had a comfortable bed. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Public areas--wood panelling, oriental rugs, very well decorated, very upscale. Hotel has no restaurant but serves a bountiful and very tasty catered breakfast which is included in the price of the room. Two heated pools, one just for adults, plus an indoor whirlpool tub.. Courtyard garden area lush and very well landscaped; a great place to read, have breakfast or coffee..Hotel spa offers large assortment of top-notch services--my wife loved her facial and herbal body wrap. Family oriented but apparently some floors exclude children. .Outdoor as well as underground parking. I used to think that the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel was the best place to stay in Rehoboth, but even though the Inn is not on the beach, as is the Boardwalk Plaza, I liked its quiet refinement better than the hustle and bustle at the Boardwalk.
