“Small Monument of early European Explorer”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

This is just a small monument placed at the edge of the boardwalk alongside some beautiful flowers and the sand. You would probably walk right by it IF you were not looking for it. It is a nice way to show recognition for one of the earliest documented european explorations of the Atlantic coastal areas from South Carolina up the coast to Canada.

Note: Restrooms can be found on the boardwalk at Baltimore Avenue next to the lifeguard station and also at Delaware Avenue near Funland & the Information booth.
