“Stay away - too many other places to spend your $$”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

I don't know where to begin. We needed to eat and it was late, so this was almost our last option since it was not in peak season yet and they were the only ones open. We ate there despite the Yelp reviews out of necessity. It was Mother's Day night and from food to service the experience was frustrating.

We sat down and our server came to take our order. She was friendly, but un-prepared. The table top menu that listed the beers was not accurate. Of the 8 or so beers listed, they only had one or two. The server told us they were changing the beer on the menu. Understandable, but if you don't carry the beers, take the page out of the menu! If you are a server who knows the menu is not accurate, have a list of the beers you have and tell us as the beginning. Don't wait for us to order a beer and say "we don't have that beer" and after we request 2 or 3 out of stock beers tell us what you do have. Felt like I was playing GO FISH while ordering beer. When she came back later to ask us if we wanted a 2nd beer, we ordered what we thought we could, waited, then she came back and told us they had didn't have the 2 beers we ordered again. As a server, you have to know your beers.

Next came the food. I can't remember what my wife ordered, but they didn't have it, so she told us they had a very busy day and were out of a lot of items and proceeded to list 6 or 7 items that they did not have, which included bone in wings, fries, and chips.

Mind you this is a sports bar, so some items you should not run out of, ever, even if you have to go to a restaurant next door and borrow it! This would include wings, fries, and chips. The server told the table behind us they ran out of lettuce during the day. Come on, we are not talking high food cost items like steak and seafood.

The food that arrived, once we figured out what we could order was at best average. The crab soup was average flavor and not worth $6 for a cup. The caprese worked but should have leaves of basil instead of some pesto squatted on it. My sons corn dog was cooked to death.

The waitstaff was very apathetic. They spend more time standing around talking to each other than they do their guests or doing productive side work. If you are going to stand around and chit chat, do it in the back of house. The manager seemed to have the same attitude when I saw them engage other tables.

Peak season must crush is here as they appear to be adding a second location within 2 blocks on the boardwalk. I would never go into any of their location in any of the cities they are in, ever.

“Great Thai pork tacos”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

Been to this resturant several times Great ocean view and friendly staff. Went today. A cool day at the beach and not very busy. Had my regular ihai pork tacos and my wife had her regular turkey club. We were very pleased as usual. The food that we have tried here has always met or exceeded expectations. As we have such a large selection of resturants to chose from, I feel that our choice to keep returning is an extra complement to the taste and quality of what they serve.

“Service issues”
Reviewed May 10, 2014 via mobile

We live in Rehoboth and have tried this place several times. The good news is, it is always well staffed with about twice the number of servers as patrons. The bad news, you can still wait for 15 minutes for one of the many "just hangin' out" wait staffers to approach your table. I'd love to say this is an isolated event, but unfortunately it has been commonplace in our experience. Beautiful location and food is decent. Need to train staff or manage better.

“Good crab cakes and a great view”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

We got the last table outside on the balcony at a busy Sunday lunch time. We both had the crab cake sandwich, which was very good. Service was fast and friendly and the price was sensible. The view of the boardwalk and the ocean was exceptional.

“Good place to go.”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

We were there 28/29 of April. We had a good time during a terrific rain/wind storm setting at the bar watching the ocean pounding the beach. They have a great view of the boardwalk & ocean. The liquid refreshment and the food were great and everyone was very friendly and service was great. Only drawback is there are stairs to climb as it is on the second floor of the building and at
our age that counts. Can hardly wait until new place on Rehoboth Blvd is open. In all this is a nice place to relax, eat, watch the game and the ocean.
