Great oysters and food! We had a long wait about 1 hour, but the food was good and came out hot. We will be back!

“Best crab cakes ever”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

We first visited when they opened about 3 years ago. We always go back whenever we are in the area. Had the oyster Rockefeller, steamed shrimp for starters, then moved onto the crab cakes. Also need to mentioned that the cocktails here are as good as the food. The only down side is the wait. We arrived about 630 on a Wednesday eve. Was told the wait would be hour, 15. So, we decided to have a few drinks & th e decided to just eat @ the bar. We really like this place & the crab cakes are out of this world! The service & staff are top notch! Look forward to when we can get back to town again!

“LOUD Seafood”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Enjoyed very good oysters and clams casino here on a Saturday evening, but the noise in the place was ridiculous. My partner and I could barely hear one another or the wait staff. We also tried the frog legs salad and sugar toads. The frog legs were too gritty with corn meal coating, but the sugar toads (puffer fish) flesh was good (could have done without the fried batter coating). We had to wait over an hour to be seated (we walked down to the beach, and the hostess texted us when our table was ready), and then we had to wait about 10 minutes after being seated for someone to greet us and take our drink order. Would probably only return during off hours to have more excellent oysters on the half shell.

“Well worth the wait”
Reviewed September 5, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I and our three yr old son wanted to try something special on our trip to the beach. I have had oysters before but never at a restaurant that specializes in them so we were game. We got there around 7:30 and it was very busy. So we left our name and they have this neat app that texts you when your table is ready so we walked around the block and browsed some art stores. The phone beeped abou an hr later and we went right over and were seated immediately. Our service was terrific and they had our food out in a very reasonable amount of time. I got an oyster sampler which had 8 different types of oysters from different places on the west coast. There was a guide that explained the differences which was nice for someone like me that doesn't eat them that often. The soup was amazing and my wife got a tuna dish, quite tasty. My 3 year old loves the mussels and thought they went great with his chocolate milk. Overall an amazing experience and and thank you to the gentleman that showed up out of nowhere and paid for our meal.

“Definitely lived up to the hype”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

This restaurant definitely lives up to its reputation. Be prepared to wait up to 2 hours to be seated during prime dinner rush. However, the wait is more than worth it. The service is great and the menu is fantastic. We were a large group all of whom loved every morsal. I would recommend this place without hesitation and I will most definitely come back.
