“Fun & Easy for Us Surf Fishers!!”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

I do the drive on beach access through Gordon's Pond. It's easy and within walking distance to the walk ons. Best of all, it's dog friendly.

“Excellent Scenic Trail”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

We biked the newly completed (6/14') trail from the Gordons Pond Lot (after biking up from the south end of Dewey). Great scenic ride with views of the pond, dunes, pines, wildlife, and beach. The 1/2 mile long boardwalk was very well done. The reward on the far end are the even more fantastic views from Herring Point, a bluff with abandoned military bunker. You can see the Cape Henlopen Light House, Ferry, adjacent bluffs, beach below, and on a clear day New Jersey.

“Scenic Beauty”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Whether you like to bike, run or walk, this is a newly renovated route that you don't want to miss. The trail now goes from Rehoboth to Lewes, DE through the salt marshes just over the dunes from the ocean. The scenery is gorgeous and serene. The path itself, is well maintained, and easy to transverse. No steep grades until you get to Cape Henlopen State Park inLewes. There is a wonderful bridge that runs for about 1/2 a mile through the marsh.

“What a beautiful spot for an end of day run”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

I had a lovely run on the flat, wide trail, wish I had my camera with me as the scenery is beautiful, there is a breeke to keep you cool and a few wild animals to keep you company!
