“If you can wait, the mole is great!”
Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

The wait for food was very very long...go early or eat a snack first. But I picked a great dish...the mole poblano was the best I've ever tasted. Someone else enjoyed the salmon and the salads were good. They were fast getting out the margaritas and sangria. Ask for a pitcher of water!

“Authentic Mexican”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Cilantro is great for authentic Mexican food--it's more traditional and less tex-mex. The menu is a little pricey but the food is different, and very good. We enjoyed the queso appetizer as a table and split a pitcher of margarita. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and some outdoor seating both in front of the restaurant and in the back courtyard. If you can get seated in the courtyard it is very nice and makes for an even more enjoyable experience dining. The restaurant does their food well--but be careful about substitutions, my one friend who has a food allergy got a very different entree then she had hoped for! The desserts are also great and gourmet--highly recommended. Overall, worth the experience for good food and drinks.

“Okay food, a little pricey.”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

We came here for dinner and it was okay. Their salsa was really good and fresh. I had the fish tacos. I asked if they were fried and our server said yes, but really they were seared. There was no sauce for the tacos, which really would have made them better. My husband had the chicken burrito and he said it was decent... we have had better Mexican at a chain restaurant. We probably will not be returning.

My father and I enjoyed our meal but my mother...not so much...The chips and salsa were good and the atmosphere were very nice especially in the back of the restaurant.

“very authentic and tasty!”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

We ended up at Cilantro because the other place we wanted to visit was very crowded and we were so glad we did! The staff was extremely friendly and very nice. We ordered some delicious guacamole and everyone raved about their entree! The best part was the dessert! We had a delicious flauta rellena that sealed the deal on the awesome meal :) Can't wait to visit there again soon!
